  1. Organizing Indonesian craft education in the field of creation and study based on local, national, and international culture;
  2. Carrying out research and community service in the field of craft to improve and apply academic abilities in order to improve human resources towards harmony with the needs of society and the market; 
  3. Fostering and developing Indonesian crafts in line with the development of art, culture, science and technology with a national cultural perspective, and competitive both regionally and internationally;
