Bangkok, August 18, 2025 - The Department of Craft took an active role in Summer School 2025 organized by the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University, Thailand. This activity is a forum for exchanging knowledge and creative practices between students, lecturers, and art practitioners from various countries, while strengthening international networks in the field of art and design.
The first day opened with a warm welcome and campus tour, which provided an overview of the art facilities and creative ecosystem at Silpakorn. This session inspired participants to understand more about the dynamics of art education in Thailand and how it can be a reference in the development of craft programs in Indonesia.
In the afternoon session, the participants participated in an Ice-breaking Workshop at PSG, a space for cross-departmental creative collaboration. This workshop provided an opportunity for the Craft Department to dialogue and exchange ideas with international artists and academics, creating a bridge of cooperation that is expected to be sustainable in the future.
